This plant alludes to its name, since it gives off an unpleasant smell. Although it has medicinal properties used in ethnobotany since ancient times.
Evergre,en about 50cm, with curious palmate leaves that grow irregularly dark green. Cup-shaped yellowish-green flowers with reddish edges on the petals.
It is a slightly toxic plant, although if ingested, it is not fatal. It can cause vomiting and sneezing.
