Perfect as a groundcover, in rock gardens, in low maintenance gardens, to create masses of colour. Combines well with blue Agapanthus species that flower at the same time. Also cultivated for medicinal use.
Fast-growing, succulent-leaved herbaceous plant. Abundant yellow flowers very attractive to bees. Flowering from spring to autumn and even in winter in mild climates. Full sun, tolerates moderate shade. Once established requires only occasional watering.
