PLANTS OF BOSTON IVY - PARTHENOCISSUS TRICUSPIDATA

Ideal climbing shrub to cover frontages, walls and soils. Highly appreciated for the coloring of its foliage in autumn. A very fast growing and vigorous plant. As the tentacles of this climbing plant do not penetrate they never damage frontages. It explains its widespread use. The irritating substances of its sap can produce inflammations and burns.

Deciduous foliage, creeping plant reaching 30m of a length. Green lobed attracting leaves turning reddish in autumn. Little green yellowish and aromatic flowers. Tiny dark blue non edible berries.

It prefers clear, acid, neutral or alkaline and fertile soils.

Height of plant: 30/50cm
