PLANTS OF GRACEFUL CATTAIL - TYPHA LAXMANNII

Wetland plant very showy for ponds and water gardens. It is found on flooded soils on the riversides, ponds and pipes. 

Perennial. Growing up to 1/1.5m with flowers in densely crowded spikelets which are spindly and brown. Long lanceolate leaves. Very elegant.

Prefers moist and even flooded soils.
