PLANTS OF PURPLE LOOSESTRIFE - LYTHRUM SALICARIA
Semi-aquatic and wild aromatic plant with medicinal properties. It is perfect in pots, edges, ponds and water gardens.
It is astringent, healing and it acts against haemorrhage.
Perennial. Up to 2 m. Aquatic plant with green lanceolate leaves and pink flowers in spikes in summer.
It must be watered frequently and abundantly unless the soil is already humid or flooded. Grows on clay, basic and flooded soils.
