This plant will bring a splash of colour to any garden! Its green foliage with red tips becomes more intense in colour and brilliance in summer and autumn. For rock gardens, borders and flowerbeds.
Upright herbaceous with narrow, long, glossy leaves, green at the base, fading to deep red at the tips. Spikes which do not usually produce flowers or seeds, making it less invasive. It grows to 50cm and is slow growing.
Cut the stems at ground level in March. The pruned stems can be left on the ground as organic fertiliser.
