The Croton or Codiaeum is an extremely decorative indoor plant because of the variagated and vivid color of its leaves. It requires a few care but nothing too complicated!
The plant has thick, green leaves with yellow, pink and red flushingand heavily veined with yellow, orange or red.
This croton requires light to maintain its color buttolerates mid-shade. To live in good conditions, it needs temperatures no lower than 15ºC or higher than 25ºC. Sheltered exposure from air.

Dig a hole at least two or three times as wide and deep as the root ball. Take out the plant from the container and loosen roots to allow them to spread out in all direction. Cut possible broken roots. Mix the soil extracted with a substrate and fill part of the hole with the mixture obtained. Place the plant in the hole and cover with the remaining mixture. Compact the soil around the plant and water thoroughly.
