PLANTS OF CARIBBEAN AGAVE - AGAVE ANGUSTIFOLIA

Beautiful Agave with long, narrow, lanceolate leaves growing from the base, with thorns along the entire edge. Green with fine white stripes and a whitish edge. Up to 1.20m long and about 10cm wide. Flowering greenish yellow.

It is the most famous and cultivated species. Widely used to produce mezcal, as well as in traditional medicine with its leaves. The flowers it produces are edible.
