The Tropical Hibiscus or China Rose is widely cultivated for the beauty of its flowers. It is used in the garden being an easy to grow shrub. It is a beautiful indoor plant. And its cultivation in pot allows to decorate terraces, balconies and patios.
Evergreen shrub that can reach 2-3m. Dark green leaves and shiny appearance. Simple, orange flowers.
It requires a sunny, warm and protected location. In summer it likes morning sun and afternoon shade. It requires moist soil, rich in organic matter. As an indoor plant it requires a lot of light. The leaves can be sprayed with water and while in bloom frequent watering is recommended. The rest of the year moderate watering is recommended.
