A beautiful plant from the Agavaceae family, hence its resemblance to an agave. It is used in rockeries and low-maintenance gardens.
Sword-like leaves up to 45 cm long with a beautiful blue-grey colour. The tip of the leaf is soft, making this plant a good choice for borders in the garden, near the pool or in leisure areas.
In spring, spectacular reddish-brown flowering with red bracts. The flower stalk can reach 1.5 to 2 m in height.
Easy to grow, sunny and sheltered exposure. Resistant to temperatures down to -5ºC. Well-drained soil. More intensive watering in summer.
