This grape variety needs no introduction... Cabernet Sauvignon. Of French origin, specifically from the Bordeaux region. The result of a cross between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc.
Very grateful, as it adapts to a wide range of climatic conditions. The red grape has a thick skin, its budding is late and with a low yield. Very consistent and with a flavour that shows character, they are wines with good body, great quantity of tannins and slightly acid.
It is used to produce blended wines with Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
