You thought there were no other avocado varieties? Well, here's another one, the Zutano avocado!
Pear-shaped, light green in colour with smooth, shiny skin. Medium sized fruit, from 200 to 400 grams. Slightly less creamy flesh but very firm and with a fresh, mild flavour. Green leaves all year round. Fruits in five years.
Type B flowering. Zutano rootstock (Guatemalan/Mexican hybrid). Good as a pollinator for Hass. Cold tolerant.
Harvest from October to December.
