The wild form of domesticated almond with sweet flavor. It is of a great ornamental value because of its attractive blooming. That is the reason why it is planted in gardens, along paths and in patios. Cosmetic products are made from its almond oil. It cures skin problems such as dermatitis, burns and dry skins….

Deciduous fruit tree 5m tall. Lanceolate and dark green leaves. Gorgeous white and pink flowers. The fruit is the edible almond.

Prefers sandy soils. Tolerates neutral soils.

Dig a hole at least two or three times as wide and deep as the root ball. Take out the plant from the container and loosen roots to allow them to spread out in all direction. Cut possible broken roots. Mix the soil extracted with a substrate and fill part of the hole with the mixture obtained. Place the plant in the hole and cover with the remaining mixture. Compact the soil around the plant and water thoroughly.
