Avijor Almond Tree

Tree of medium size and with a striking flowering although a little late (first half of March). Elongated and narrow fruits. Easy to prune and shape, being very resistant to "ocher stain" and other diseases.

Dig a hole that is at least twice as wide and deep as the root ball of the plant. Crumble and remove the soil effectively: this will facilitate rooting. Remove the plant from the container and carefully cut the roots that have been broken by slightly loosening the root ball. Mix the soil removed with substrate and fill part of the hole with this mixture. Place the plant in the hole, cover it with the rest of the mixture and compact the soil around the root ball, treading it carefully. Water abundantly.
