The well-known Red Sarsaparilla! We have all eaten its red berries and a little sour! If you like pastries, homemade jams or cooking... this fruit tree cannot be missing from your garden!
European autochthonous fruit bush 1-1.5m tall. Deciduous, large, yellowish-green lobed leaves. Small yellowish-green flowers that grow in clusters, ripening and producing large numbers of reddish, edible, slightly acid berries.
Ideal for making dishes, jams, drinks and all pastries. It also has astringent, diuretic and digestive properties, among others, and is high in fiber and vitamin C, very beneficial for our health!
It is advisable to protect it from the wind, trellise it and prune it so that it grows in good conditions.
