Strawberry guavas are smaller than regular guavas. They have a flavour that is a mixture of strawberry and guava, with very aromatic pink flesh. They are highly prized for their distinctive flavour.
Rich in vitamin C, they are used to make jams and juices. The fruit has many medicinal properties, including purifying, digestive, circulatory, expectorant, toning and revitalising.
It requires well-drained, rich soil.
