A fruity, exotic, unique and edible plant! It produces delicious, aromatic orange berries with a very sweet flavour and subtle notes of vanilla and coconut. Distinctive and eye-catching, it is covered in a beige skin reminiscent of paper.
An evergreen plant growing up to 2 metres tall with yellow bell-shaped flowers. Oval, heart-shaped leaves.
It can be eaten on its own, in syrup, in desserts and with other sweet fruits. It can also be used as a decorative element for cakes and pastries. It is used to control diabetes and for other therapeutic purposes.
Planting in spring and autumn
It grows on arid soils with a sandy and clay texture.
