The Golden Nugget is juicy and firm, with a pleasant sweetness reminiscent of apricot and a very appetising orange colour. It is the earliest and most acid variety of loquat, widely cultivated in the south of Spain. Very abundant productivity.
Fruit tree up to 9 m. Elongated and large leaves, with serrated edge and dark green colour. Large, semi-round, orange-coloured fruit and very juicy orange flesh with brown spots.
It adapts to all types of soils with neutral pH. Undemanding, resistant to cold and dryness.
