This variety is the result of a Mandarino Antiguo and a Cidro, it could be said that it is an acid mandarin.
Vigorous and rounded in shape. Small ellipse-shaped leaves. Medium-sized round fruit. Slightly rough and aromatic rind, intense yellow that turns orange when ripe. The flesh is sour and bitter, but juicy and aromatic, yellow-orange.
Rootstock Volkameriana (Great crop producer but with a lower quality in terms of skin, appearance and flavour. Tolerant to limestone but sensitive to cold).
