The Sanguine oranges is well known for producing red coloured juice!
It produces medium to large, reddish-orange fruits with deep red flesh. Slightly hard peel and slightly acidic, sweet and sour taste.
Rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. They are eaten fresh, in salads and juices.
Macrophylla rootstock (susceptible to tristeza if grafted on orange trees, but tolerant if grafted on lemon trees). Hybrid widely used nowadays for its fast and good production. Suitable for all types of soil).
