The Valencia Delta Seedless orange is a large fruit and is characterised by very few seeds.
Variety of probable origin in Portugal,a mutation of Valencia Late. Vigorous, round and thornless. Light green leaves.
Fresh consumption or for industry, as it contains little limonin for juice. It is perfectly preserved in chambers for consumption in summer.
It adapts well to all citrus-growing areas, especially indicated in areas with low risk of late frosts.
Rootstock Macrophylla. (Sensitive to tristeza if grafted on orange trees, but tolerant if grafted on lemon trees. Hybrid widely used nowadays for its fast and good production. Suitable for all types of soil.)
