The clementine oronules is a fine clementine mutation originating in the region of Nules (Castellón).
Vigorous but slow growing. Narrow, elongated, lance-shaped green leaves. Round, slightly flattened fruit, intense reddish orange when ripe. Medium size, thin and soft skin with juicy and sweet pulp.
Very early variety. It needs abundant irrigation and annual pruning.
Rich in vitamin C and antioxidants.
Rootstock Macrophylla. (Sensitive to tristeza if grafted on orange trees, but tolerant if grafted on lemon trees. Hybrid widely used nowadays for its fast and good production. Suitable for all types of soil.)
