The Tangerines Hernandina are medium-sized, thick-skinned and intense in colour with juicy, almost seedless flesh.
They are rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. They are consumed fresh, in salads, juices and pastries. They are also used in the cosmetic industry for their essential oil.
Carrizo rootstock (hybrid of Poncitus trifoliata and sweet orange): This variety in particular is very vigorous, with a very high productivity and ahead of the standard variety. Very good fruit quality. Very sensitive to chalky and saline soil.
