This grapefruit is for you, if you are looking for a good juice, with a less bitter and sweeter taste and a deep red colour!
The Star ruby IVIA 197 grapefruit is a seedless variety. Orange-orange skin, thin, fine and smooth. Soft, deep red flesh and abundant juice.
Grows in subtropical areas and does not tolerate frost. It prefers sandy-loam, fresh and deep soils. Harvesting from October to March.
Rootstock Macrophylla. (Sensitive to tristeza if grafted on orange trees, but tolerant if grafted on lemon trees. Hybrid widely used nowadays for its fast and good production. Suitable for all types of soil.)
