Fruit tree that produces the wild olives used for ornamental, forestry and culinary purposes. Bonsai.

Evergreen tree which is smaller and has smaller fruits than the ones of its genus Olea europaea. It is more resistant to dryness, fire and salt.

Dig a hole at least two or three times as wide and deep as the root ball. Take out the plant from the container and loosen roots to allow them to spread out in all direction. Cut possible broken roots. Mix the soil extracted with a substrate and fill part of the hole with the mixture obtained. Place the plant in the hole and cover with the remaining mixture. Compact the soil around the plant and water thoroughly.

It adapts to cool and well-drained soils.

Wild Olive Tree is used in reforestation and erosion control. The fruits are used for the production of the olive oil, used in kitchen but also in cosmetics and natural medicine. It is cultivated as an isolated tree for its ornamental value. It is a good firewood and it is used in carpentry and cabinet making industries.
