Very attractive flower to brighten up edges, rockeries and pots in the garden. Ornamental and decorative valued flower in a garden and as a cut flower. Potplant.
Annual. 45 cm. Lanceolate shiny green and whitish leaves. Clustered flowers usually vivid blue, violet-blue, or white. Attractive to bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
Requires loamy soils from neutral to basic and dry.
Generally grown as an annual in cold climates, but can behave as a perennial in warm, frost-free regions.
