PLANTS OF CREEPING ROSEMARY - ROSMARINUS OFFICINALIS PROSTRATUS

Aromatic creeping shrub. It is an ideal groundcover, excellent in rockery, as a hanging plant in pots and containers. It has a natural resistance to deseases so it is a good neighboor protecting the plants around. The leaves are used in cooking recipes to season, in marinades for oil or vinegar and as a condiment for meat. It benefits blood circulation and diminishes arterial constriction. It is efficient against minor depression and headaches if used as herbal tea.

Creeping variety of rosemary, spreading on the ground with no erect branches. Height 30-35 cm.

Dig a hole at least two or three times as wide and deep as the root ball. Take out the plant from the container and loosen roots to allow them to spread out in all direction. Cut possible broken roots. Mix the soil extracted with a substrate and fill part of the hole with the mixture obtained. Place the plant in the hole and cover with the remaining mixture. Compact the soil around the plant and water thoroughly.
