PLANTS OF RUSSIAN SAGE ’ARGENTEA’ - PEROVSKIA ATRIPLICIFOLIA ’ARGENTEA

Decorative sage for use in low-maintenance gardens, adapts well to non-sunny and somewhat dry sites. Aromatic plant.

Shrubby sage that can reach 1 m in height and about 70 cm in width. Aromatic greyish deciduous leaves. Abundant blue flowers. Cutting off withered inflorescences will prolong flowering. Prune in January-February to encourage spring growth.

Dig a hole at least two or three times as wide and deep as the root ball. Take out the plant from the container and loosen roots to allow them to spread out in all direction. Cut possible broken roots. Mix the soil extracted with a substrate and fill part of the hole with the mixture obtained. Place the plant in the hole and cover with the remaining mixture. Compact the soil around the plant and water thoroughly.

Height of plant: 2 Liter Pot: 40/70cm
