Cotton Lavender

Small ornamental and medicinal plant to shape hedges on dry grounds, edges and flowerbeds in gardens. It is used in gardening for sculpture or topiary art. Medicinal properties: the brewed leaves regulate periods. It is an antispasmodic, a stomach tonic making digestion easier. The essential oil is a natural insect-repellent. The seeds help against earthworms and other intestine worms.

Evergreen up to 30-50cm with lemon-yellow button-like flowers. The leaves are downy, little and narrow looking like fine-tooth comb. 

Trim back after flowering to maintain a dense, compact shrub.

Dig a hole at least two or three times as wide and deep as the root ball. Take out the plant from the container and loosen roots to allow them to spread out in all direction. Cut possible broken roots. Mix the soil extracted with a substrate and fill part of the hole with the mixture obtained. Place the plant in the hole and cover with the remaining mixture. Compact the soil around the plant and water thoroughly.
