Evergreen tree growing up to 40m. Pyramid-shaped with a dense crown.Long, thin yellow-greenish needles turning reddish when getting mature. Oval conic brown pine cones with pine nuts. It adapts well to poor and limestone soils. Hardy only in the mildest areas.
Soak the seeds in cool water for 24 hours before direct sowing.
