PERLITE GROWING MEDIA AND SUBSTRATE
Perlite (3-6mm) is an expanded mineral used as a seed coating in agriculture. Among its advantages, it increases aeration and improves the physical stability of substrates, in addition to allowing better root development of plants.
Technical information of the product: Total Sicily: 70-75% - Density: 100 ± 15g/L - Granulometry: 3-6 mm - Porosity: 92-98&.
The product is supplied in 2.5 liter bags.
Perlite dosage:
- Tree cultivation in pots: 10-30% of the substrate volume.
- Multiplication in soil, ground cover and urban gardening: 7-30% of the total volume of the substrate in the first 25-40 cm.
