The Chinese Bellflower, a spectacular flower that will bring a special blue touch to your garden! Very ornamental and easy to grow, it is also perfect in pots and window boxes.
Perennial up to 50cm tall with oval, serrated dark bluish-green leaves. Abundant and intense flowering, bell-shaped and large intense blue flowers. Before flowering, its buds swell in the shape of a balloon.
Cutback in autumn at 10cm from the base of the plant.
In traditional Chinese medicine, its roots were used as an anti-inflammatory or for colds by taking it in infusions.
