PLANTS OF BUDDLEJA X PIKEI ‘HEVER’

The plant which is a result of crossing B. alternifolia and B. crispa received the RHS Award of Garden Merit in 1953.

Perennial shrub up to 2 m high with slow growth. Thin pale green leaves. Lilac flowers very fragrant. It attracts butterflies for its fragrant nectar.

Hedges, singular, in groups and containers. It prefers fertile, light and well-drained soils and full sun. Fully hardy.
