PLANTS OF LAURUSTINUS ’GIGANTEUM’ - VIBURNUM TINUS ’GIGANT

Ornamental shrub for gardens, terraces, as specimen tree and hedges. Its main attraction lies in the formation of small hedges with spectacular flowering in winter. Good plant for coastal areas. The most vigorous of all Laurustinus.

Evergreen shrub 3 to 4m high with white flowers. Both flowers and leaves are larger than those of Viburnum tinus.

Any soil. Sun or shade exposure. Fast growing. Hardy (-10ºC).

Dig a hole at least two or three times as wide and deep as the root ball. Take out the plant from the container and loosen roots to allow them to spread out in all direction. Cut possible broken roots. Mix the soil extracted with a substrate and fill part of the hole with the mixture obtained. Place the plant in the hole and cover with the remaining mixture. Compact the soil around the plant and water thoroughly.

Height of plant: 1 Liter Pot: 20/30cm
